Wonderful upgrade

Bought this several months ago and use it weekly. SO happy , easy to use, not heavy. Was a good upgrade from old model Like the moist seal functions too, very helpful, has me freezing things I had not been able to in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This FoodSaver machine is my is my 3rd one and, my least favorite. The roll feeder doesn't line up with the sealing port, creating an extra step. That is not a problem if you use this casually. (We have a large garden, cattle and 3 freezers to fill.). The sealing "motor" is not as strong asas the my other machines and takes longer to draw the air out of the bag. Lastly the bag sealing seems to take longer as well. It still gets the job done however, like so many things today, it is not what it ised to be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

horrible waste

Every time I am forced to use this machine, I get angry.. What a waste of bag material. It uses an entire inch of plastic to seal it. So if I want to make a bag, there goes an inch on one side. To seal, the bag needs at least 4 inches to feed into the machine and again, uses another inch to seal. Poor thought process on this machine. They would not let me exchange it for one like I had before. My disappointment cannot be measured in a negative star
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this one in 2013. Over 10 years use and I accidentally broke it. It was still working perfect. Replaced it with the V4840.

Love this machine. My favorite feature is the bag vacuum is at the bottom. This helps with my arthritic hands. I use this 4 to 5 times a week. I love the resealable bags for deli meats.

So excited just unboxed this beauty. 😍 I am so excited to use this appliance. I have had several other ones but this one is top of the line. Already sealed several things. From dry to moist food. Yea!!!
