[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We find that we can store food for much longer there just sticking it in the freezer from the store. I have meat that has been sucked up for several years and is still in great eatable shape. Just like the day I sealed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this V4440 unit for 6 months, used the heck out of it. Recently we processed over 300 lbs of sausage and sealed it all with 3 of these. Once in a blue moon it over heats and needs to cool for 10 minutes or so but that is after 45 minutes of constant use no real problems at all holds up and very convenient and easy to use

Easy to Operate Sealer!

Great when it works.

this is the second one i've had, first was great lasted about 6 yrs, bought the one i have now, 2 yrs ago, works great when it works, started to use it this week, wouldn't work, all lights are on & thats it. so disapointed, had bought several items , & had to revert to freezer paper.

Best Vacuum Sealer We've Ever Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Approximately 3 months ago our Nesco vacuum sealer had died after only 2 months of moderate use, fortunately for us we returned it and got a full refund. Thankfully my daughter-in-law had lent us her V4440 vacuum sealer because we had to vacuum seal approx. 60lbs of beef that we had purchased along with 20+lbs of fresh garden vegetables. We were so impressed with the ease of use and performance throughout the whole vacuuming process we just purchased one for ourselves. Bottom line: The V4440 vacuum sealer is a true workhorse that functioned flawlessly and is worth every penny. We highly recommend the FoodSaver V4440 Vacuum Sealer.

Life saver

It only takes me a few minutes to separate meat and seal them and freeze them so I don’t waste food or cook too much. I’m in love with this machine!!! Never had let me down and real easy to use!

Bought this item about a year and a half ago, made weird noises and stopped working today. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used the unit total and it died today.
