Very easy to use. It’s easy to cut your bag to the correct size. Then you seal the bottom of the bag by sliding it into the slot, the machine senses it and seals. Next you fill it and slide the top of the bag into the machine. The machine senses the bag, vacuums out the air and seals it. That’s it! Your food so very long, years in fact.

Love the foodsaver system. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the suction could be better. I had my last one for many years and wore it out. It still worked but just suction wasn’t standing up to how much I use it. So I gave it to my daughter who will use it probably for many more years just not as heavily as I do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had a few FoodSavers and this model has been my favorite. I have had it well over 5 years, and recently I can not make custom bag. It seals just fine with the premade bags.
I was wondering if the accessory to seal the containers can be replaced. The cord wont retract anymore and the long tube is cracked. I have looked but don't see replacement parts listed.
