Replaced my seal a meal for the 440. Has some good points making it easier to vacuum seal. Doesn't suck all the air like my old one. So couldn't rate 5 star. My meat starts floating when in water bath. Even with racks clips and lid. Pushes lid off. My old seal a meal stuff would sink while cooking. Would not recommend to a friend.

I can’t review the one I just purchased because it is a Christmas gift. What I can tell you is I have this one and have had it for a few years and absolutely love it. I use it all the time. Even now that I’m only cooking for myself it still allows me to buy in bulk to save money and make fewer trips to the store, which at my age is probably a good thing I’m not on the road as much…LOL

So much easier to use than my old machine! I was heading trouble pressing down on the seal bar on my old Foodsaver. This new one is great! It starts working as soon as you insert the bag, no pressure from hands necessary! It also works to seal my old canisters! I’m very happy with my purchase!

I can’t believe how easy this thing is to use! The bag storage is so convenient, and keeps everything on one place! Love the retractable cord on the attachment, and power cord wrap on the bottom. Neat and organized!

Can't vacuum more than a couple before it quits, i now have to buy another unit from a differant mfg. Now I have to pay to put in the trash
