[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best invention ever. You can easily clean it and you can seal just about anything. I love resealing bags of chips, candy and all the meats I need sealed. It literally takes no time for it to reseal it.

Great food saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 3rd food saver over a lifetime, it has cut our food bill in half. Allowing us to buy in large quantities. We had one issue after 3 years, sent it back and food saver company sent us a new one right out. Very good customer service

Perfect Virgin Island Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living down here in St Croix one has to think ahead at grocery stores and buy in bulk when you have the opportunity. Unfortunately our warm year round temperatures don’t do well with perishable foods. To the rescue comes the food saver. Wow we can now by 10 lbds grated cheese and seal and freeze in smaller bags. We now buy hamburger in 10 lbs and make one lb sealed bags freeze and good. The best is the ability to use the hard plastic containers and open chips of all kinds and seal. They now last weeks. Amazing. Fruits nuts etc. we cannot believe how many uses.
We have already saved 5 times our price and always available.
Best appliance ever for island living.

No more freezer burn!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I purchased this Food Saver I have never had freezer burn on meats or vegetables. I vacuum seal all my meats for the freezer, saving money not having to throw out expensive food because of disgusting looking gray freezer burn. I also love the accessory for preserving dried beans, cereal and such. I would never do without my Food Saver and would highly recommend whichever model works for your needs. I am also going to purchase a hand held model for deli meats and cheeses. please give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

There are many other reasons like storing leftovers, storing a fresh catch crappie, storing the good deal that you got st publics before u puy them or saving a hand full or screws before I put them in a tool box. this is my second foodsaver I gave my first one to my son when I upgraded to the v4400
