Must have for smaller households

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these on a whim not even knowing if we would use it. The kids have left the house, but my wife still shops like she’s feeding an army. In the end this amazing device is saving us money! We are able to still shop at the value clubs and just portion the food right from the get go. That alone makes it worth it, but it has also opened us up to other opportunities. We are now bacon makers! We have started smoking and slicing our own bacon. We vacuum steel packs for friends and relatives and then portion ours out and freeze it as well. Making bacon is way cheaper and being able to share and portion it makes it worth it. At this point this is a leave on the counter must have kitchen appliance for our home.

Love my FoodSaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My foodsaver is one of my favorite appliances in my kitchen. I use it for everything. Re-packing bulk into small packs, left-overs & big pots of soup into single servings. The bags take up less room than plastic freezer containers and there is never any freezer-burn. In fact I took out a roast I food-saved in 2017 and was forgotten in the back of the freezer (I date my packages) and it was as fresh as if I had just bought it.
