I actually enjoy this...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing I learned in life is if it's too much trouble I won"t do it. No so with my food saver. When we buy bulk food, I actually look forward to repackaging for my wife and me. I can break it into dinner for two. Many items can be stored up to a year. I don't have to throw away food and I have the savings of bulk buying. Food saver makes it soo easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does everything I need and more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift a few years ago. We have used it to freeze game meat, chicken and other meats. We power cook and freeze meals. We have also used the containers to store and marinate. Marinating meat is so much faster!!! We have put many likes on this and it still works perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An absolute pain to use

We’ve had this model for several years, and it’s been, as the title says, an absolute pain to use. Firstly, lining bags up to trigger the vacuum is far more difficult than it should be. I end up having to remove & reinsert the bag multiple times before it will start.
It also never seals foods with any amount of liquid, unless I freeze it first, even with “moist” selected. That kind of defeats the purpose, since I’m sealing it to be frozen. I frequently have to seal partially-sealed bags in another bag, after folding over the still-unsealed bag and putting that in opposite the opened end.
It also frequently fails to draw enough air out, which causes it to not start sealing the bag. I then have to rearrange the food, so that there are no air gaps where it previously failed to vacuum the air out.
All-in-all, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this model.

I never would buy this automatic machine again you can't reseal bags very easy
some of the older were just great put it in push the button and go now we have to get fancy

I bought about a month ago. so far, it's working well sealing bags. I bought the deli containers & those aren't staying sealed. I don't know if the issue is with the sealer or with the container. I haven't received the replacement containers yet, so I'll see i that was the problem.

If you want to seal more than one item forget it, you have to wait for it to stop flashing red (hunters beware) Very difficult to insert bag to seal than you have do it again to vacuum and seal. Sealing not that great, I've had leaking seals.
