Timer is not the greatest

The timer on this range needs big improvement. When the oven is on, the timer will ding once. When it is used without the oven on it will ding multiple times. As other reviewers mention, the ding is not loud.

This range was installed by plumber, so I’ll have to call for service to fix it.

Whirlpool Quality is slipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a year ago. I don't use the oven much but did around the holidays. To my surprise found out the oven was not calibrated correctly. About 50 degrees off. Whirlpool integrity seems to have slipped in the last 10 years. I used to buy nothing but Whirlpool when it came to new appliances but now I think I will have to start shopping around. The quality just doesn't seem to be as reliable as in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooks food nicely, but has design flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range cooks food perfectly. But the grates on the burner are scratching my cookware. The grates are heavy and hard to move. I have already scratched the stove itself. Plus the range is very loud when the oven heating and while clicking on and off to maintain the temperature. The drawer at the bottom is very cheaply made and will probably break before long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gas Range SS model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove about a month and half ago. It has performed well to my expectations. It does not show fingerprints & other than the glossy surface below where the cooking eyes are don’t see much to clean up. The only thing I wish would stay cleaner are the grates, them seem to transfer any grime or color off the older pans. I also wish the timer buzzer was louder- it’s hard to hear going off, when in another room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
