Very Disappointed

When I chose this range, I was influenced by reasonable price and also figured that, at our ages (70+ and 80+) I wouldn’t be cooking much...then COVID-19 came along and I’ve cooked more in the past 6 months than in the last 3 years! I hate this range. I am considered by many to be an excellent, chef caliber cook, so I do know what I’m doing and these problems are not operator error. We had to reject the first one delivered because the oven door was not seated correctly and did not completely close - I should have taken that as a sign. 1. The cute little center burner for long pans isn’t big enough for large, long pans (like a pasta boiling pot) and doesn’t have enough flame to boil. 2. Because the 3 surface racks hook together, you can’t lift just one off in order to quick clean a spill. 3. None of the burners are sensitive enough to work well for a low simmer - the flame always goes out. 4. The oven temp is not accurate - I have to set it 5-10 degrees higher and bake 10 mins. longer. 5. After baking, and the oven cools, there is a loud bang as some interior part cools - what’s that all about? 6. If you’re not very careful with the placement of a medium to small sized pot on the burner, it will tip - the cute little plus sign grate over the burners is dangerous! I will say it looks nice, but I just wish it performed better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove works just fine with a few caveats. It takes longer to heat up food in the oven than prior stoves I e had. The bottom drawer also feels real cheap and falls to the floor once it’s opened.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good thing is that it is gas but it has some quirks like the burners are centered more to the middle of the stove so you have to closely align your pan. It has nice cast iron grates and the oven works great and sounds like it is also gas. The drawer at the bottom is the worst as it is not a heavy drawer and when you go to close it it is never aligned and it is hard to close.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
