Great range!

The Boss

I thought I would have a difficult time keeping the stainless steel clean. So far, it just takes a quick damp wipe. Looking forward to purchasing the Whirlpool refrigerator.

Love the range, but it's dangerous

We really like this range, but it has one fatal flaw. If you lean against the knobs, the gas can turn on without the burner igniting. This is especially a problem if you have a microwave or cabinet above the range, and you have people or children reaching over the stovetop. We had a earlier Whirlpool gas oven that locked out the cooktop but for some reason this model did not have this feature. We found out the hard way. Once the gas was for for a couple of minutes. Last night it was on for several hours and we went into the kitchen and found the room was full of gas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple, easy to use well appointed stove/oven
