[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new stove for almost a month. I love it! I like the fact that the entire top is a grate in 3 removable pieces. They are very sturdy and not light-weight like other stoves I examined. I have yet to use the center burner, but the other 4 light easily and the flames are easy to regulate. I also like that the front two burners are "stronger" flames than the back two or the middle. The oven cooks evenly too. As much as I love the grates and the look it gives, they also make it a little harder to clean the stove-top. However, that would not keep me from buying this stove again. I'll say it again, I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the selling features of our new home was the look of this Whirlpool gas range! Cooking is a delight when you can trust that the temperature can so easily be adjusted. The light and the fan features are on at a finger's touch and I can't wait to use the griddle feature for breakfast and sandwiches on the central oval burner! Yesterday, I tried a new "Wet Burritos" recipe in the oven. I was a little concerned that I had forgotten how to "light" a gas oven. "PRESTO CHANGEO" again.....with the touch of the word "BAKE" on the key pad the oven ignited and I was ready to heat up my casserole. I couldn't believe how easy things have become.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this stove on May 5th and after it was delivered I found there were 3 dents in the top of the stove. I called and it was replaced a week later with no problems. I do love the stove, but was disappointed that the metal covers that go over the gas burners on the top have already discolored, like the finish is coming off. I will be calling whirlpool to see what can be done about this as they do not look nice now that there is a discoloration. That is why I only gave this review a 4 instead of 5. Other than that stove seems to work fine. Have not had a chance to bake yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this stove now for a little over a month. I love the 5th burner in the middle. It's taking me a little bit to get used to the grates across entire top because I apparently spill a lot. I do love that all of my pots and pans stay level and nothing can tip over. However, the cast iron grates get hot (obviously), so in addition to being heavy, I have to wait quite a while to clean my stove top. I'm also finding that I have to use the back burners more than on my previous stove because the two front burners are quite big and very hot. Even on "low," they burn hotter than I'm used to. That being said, I love my new stove. I just have to learn to be less messy!

Smell of Gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I light any burner on the stove top, all the burners spark up until the flame finally turns on with the burner I want to use. Also, I have to turn all the knobs to the left to turn on.
Oven smells like gas when I am preheating and baking.
The stove top should have a option to open and clean a LOT easier than lifting and removing the grills. My previous stove had the grills on hinges, and I just opened the grills on their hinges and cleaned the stove top.
This over lacks safety and ease of cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not loving this new range. I love the look......but the functionality is not what I anticipated. The grates are very heavy and cumbersome to clean. 3 out of 4 of the burners do not have a true "simmer" setting. I turn the knob as low as possible and the flame is still too high to simmer whatever it is I am cooking. I would never have thought of this because obviously none of the ranges are actually set up in the stores to allow you to turn the burners on. I did not discover this issue until I cooked my first meal. I am truly disappointed -- especially because there is no "fix" for this issue.

Personally I do not like the black stove top, shows every thing, like a black sweater. The burner grates our heavy and awkward to take off.
