Fast Racing Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hot Wheels Mario Circuit Track Set for free as part of the Mattel Play, Rate & Review program.
Hot Wheels Mario Circuit Track Set comes with 2 cart characters, various track & curve pieces and easy to follow instructions. You will recognize familiar charachters on the base pieces & stickers like a Goomba and the Toads. The track pieces are compatible with other Hot Wheels tracks and other Mariokart expansion track sets. It requires 4 D batteries that are not included. I did have a little trouble connecting the higher curve pieces to the base. But, a couple of deep breathes and laying on the floor to get a better view of the connection site worked to get it connected. My 7 year old twin boys were excited that our set included Mario & Yoshi as the 2 carts. They thought the "booster" section of the track was really cool & that's what propels the carts through the higher curve sections and makes it go fast. They also tested some of their other hot wheels cars on the track but not all of them fit on the track and the "booster" area may strip the paint off regular hot wheels cars. I recommemd sticking with Karts that comes with the set & the others that are sold seperately for Mario Circuit.

I bought this 3 weeks ago for my sons birthday. It was so fun. Until after playing with it twice, the track is broken and no longer connects! Horrible construction!

With two boys I purchase a TON of hot wheels items

After assembling this last night for my oldest sons birthday, I’m a little disappointed in this set. All of the attachments didn’t “click” like they were supposed to & after spending a pretty penny on this I figured it would be a little more durable than the smaller cheaper tracks. I have two boys and they are rough as any other boy their age, and I’m just waiting for the time that the tracks comes apart since the pieces do not click into place. It’s moveability is almost non existent with just one person trying to pick it up & move it and considering it has two tracks you would think it would come with an extra car. But hey that’s what buying add ons is for, right?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for my Son and I to enjoy, it has to be the biggest rip off Ive ever seen. Made very cheaply, none of the tracks stay in place for the cars to get around the track more then once successfully. They designed it so the curved track has to flex and be held up under the power of the cheapest support structure on the planet. So the cars just run into the thing that looks like a princess peach castle tower. I do not reccomend buying the tracks. The cars are very cool, but the tracks are 100% pure garbage. Junk that will now need to be thrown in the garbage.

Disappointed my autistic son

I bought this for my 6 year old autistic son for Christmas. The Mario kart track set isn't steady enough for cars to go at the same time. With new batteries the cars will not go around the track at its largest track you can build. The gray tracks are distorted and bent because of the poor design. The extra car sets that you sell as cars for this track are not made for this track. They are too heavy and when any of the cars fall off of the track, their heads break off. This makes me feel like a failure to my autistic son because he has a hard time with the manual tracks, so I thought he would enjoy this. He did enjoy it for 3 weeks. This is shameful to see people like this taking advantage of parents and more importantly the children.

Doesn't work

Bought this for our grandkids thinking it would it would be fun for them when they come to our house. After assembly could not get the cars to go around the track. The cars that came with the track fall off in the large loop if they even make it that far. We bought a few replacement cars and that work with the blue track but not the red. Everything is assembled correctly but no matter what we try cars will not go around the red track. They either fall off in the shoret loop or long loop. Turns this was a waste of money

Bought for my son and the one track broke in under a month. Didn’t expect that when this is so expensive, my son is so sad and no parts seem to be available for broken track.
