Really neat concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old adores this track. She has always been a Hot Wheels fan, and the added bonus of MarioKart to this made her day! Functionality is awesome, she needed minimal help assembling it. Only one complaint-the motor is loud, but manageable since she giggles every time the cars go upside down. A great toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s very fun and keeps the kids attention for a while. However, it is pretty large and loud. Only the cars that come with it work on the track. The kids really like.

Bringing Kart racing to life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great way to take a break from all that screen time! Love the track extras. As the car go zooming by the coins spin. The boosters allow for the cars to race upside down for the high turn. Even has a turtle shell button to send your opponent to the pits (but if you hit it too hard they will go off track). Also like the race flag feature that allows a 6 lap race, stopping the non-winning car. This set is great! Love how the battery compartment is accessible from the top so you don't have to disturb the track when replacing batteries. Takes 4 D-cell batteries so be prepared for some noise while the track is running. There is the ability to add additional tracks to either side. Easy to assemble for those 6 and up.

Really fun when it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really fun when it works. The cars seem to fall off easily. I would like to give it 5 stars, but kids keep calling me to help took away a star. 10 year old son can deal with it, but 6 year old daughter gets frustrated when the kart falls before the round is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, lots of fun and really colorful. The characters are just like the video game and the racing is smooth once you get them going.
You need a grownup to help you to put it together and get it out of the box. Pushing down on the button to get the race started was hard. You have to slam on it to get the cars going. Sometimes the cars fall off the track at the turn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Hot Wheels Mario Kart cricut track set for my 6 and 8 year olds. It was fairly easy to put together and we were able to get playing pretty quickly. It takes a few tries to get the right button pushing force to get the cars all the way to the shooter without them flinging off the track. The track needs to be on a pretty hard flat surface to work correctly. We had it on the carpet and had some problems with the cars flying off the track. It’s a fun toy, but didn’t hold their interest for a super long time.

The track can be a little loud when it is turned on. I would definitely recommend this toy to Mario lovers as well as Hot Wheel fans!
