Fun once set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Four stars was given due to the frustration of getting the track to work the way it should. We had problems with one car always falling off the track even though it was laid out according to the pictures. Despite that, my girls loved the racing element and the different modes to play.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was super excited to get this in the mail. Took about 30 minutes give or take to put together. He is 8 and could have done it himself but wanted to have others help too. It does take D batteries. No my son and my daughter have really enjoyed this. Normally after like 10-15 min they get bored and go do something else but they have been racing the cars all day. I already recommended this product to my sister who has two boys. This has been by far the kids favorite product they have received!

Fun theme, but could use improvements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun product idea and both of my daughters were excited to open it and get to work on assembly. Note: batteries are not included and it requires 4 D batteries. They love that it came with two character cars so that they could race each other once assembled. I will tell you - this toy is loud! Even my kids said it’s a bit too loud (and that’s from kids). They also get frustrated because the cars fall off the track very often. Also, our set arrived with one of the gears out of place so it wouldn’t spin to launch the car. We were able to open it up and fix the problem. The idea of the expansion sets is exciting and the Mario theme is great! It could just use some improvements (quieter, more reliable, etc.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just enough action for the littles

Perfect Gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect item to test for my 8 year old. He’s a big hot wheels track fan and we just celebrated his birthday with a Mario theme.
This track is pretty big so you need to have some space, roughly 5-6 feet long. It’s not overly wide but it can be expanded with other hot wheels tracks. We are very pleased with the item but noted that the cars fall out a little too often which is why we decided to rate it 4 of 5 stars.
My 8 year old followed the instructions and put it together himself which is another win in my book. It comes with 2 cars, Mario and Yoshi, who race around the track nonstop or in a 6 lap race. The turtle shell button on the track can be pushed to knock your opponent off the track.
