Mario Kart Excitement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved this Mario Kart themed Hot Wheels Racetrack! It was very exciting seeing if Mario or Yoshi would win the race! It was very easy to put together which is much appreciated! It took about 15 minutes to put together. I liked the feature of the flags moving up and down to show the laps won. My 6 and 8 year old boys as well as 5 year old girl have enjoyed playing with it. I would say the 5 and 6 year old liked it most. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is rather noisy and it would be hard to have the noise on for more than a few minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super cool Hot Wheels set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was an immediate hit with my kids. They both love Mario Kart on the Nintendo, so having a 'for reals' version of it to play with is huge. Also, almost immediately upon setting it up, they realized they could link in all their other Hot Wheels sets, so we ended up with a huge mashup track in the basement with 3 different sets connected and a massive Mario Kart road rally going on. This will be something that is on the top play list for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels® Mario Kart is as fun as it looks. To start it is very simple to assemble and the directions were easy to follow. The cars are very well made. Especially the design and painting are both high quality. Once we popped the batteries in the kids went crazy with it. Truly so much fun and kept them busy all afternoon. Sometimes the cars do flies off the tracks but the kids didn't mind, and thought it was fun. The detail of the flags going down after each lap adds a bit of friendly competition.

Great Toy but a pain to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting off, getting everything out of the box, I was surprised how well the toy looked. It was a bit of a pain to set up. The instruction weren't the easiest to follow but we figured it out. Once it was set up we realized it needed 4 D batteries, which would have been nice to know prior to getting the toy. Once we finally got the batteries it was a great toy to play with. Upon reading the instructions my son was able to see how everything worked. The little arms near the start/finish line to push the opponents car into the pit don't work. They don't come out all the way. We tried to fix them but the spring won't push them out all the way so that's one feature my son can't use with it.
Overall it is a great toy!

He needed some help with the putting it together part cause it is very large however it wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend for anyone who is a fan of both hot wheels and Mario!
