The laptop is really great, came in a good condition. Everything is working good, the only problem I have is that it gets really heat when charging while using it. It's because the cpu fan is at the bottom so to avoid this, I have to make sure that nothing is blocking it to let the air out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the 360 screen is fantastic and the speakers are amazing when flipped because the speaker are located under the laptop. This however makes the speakers awful in regular laptop/keyboard use as the speakers get muffled from under. Again though, speakers are FANTASTIC in the flipped/tablet mode. The clickable mouse-like buttons above the trackpad are useless; you'll never use em. The trackpad is great, nothing even close to a macbook mousepad but still good, a bit jerky at times but you get used to it. I've had one issue once only: when flipping the screen, the screen should flip upside down to accomodate the new view, and it didnt flip so the screen was upside down... i updated and never happened again! All in all great purchase, if I could go back, I'd look at the screen options because for the price, I think i'd have preffered a better screen, as well there was an affordable i7 option that i didn't take which in hindsight i feel dumb about. There is this AMAZING app on the laptop called "whiteboard". I use it every day at work and in my every day life to jot down ideas and stuff, sometimes the ideas get too intense and the i5 cant really handle graphics like that, but when plugged it its not so bad... it just defeat the purpose of being plugged in for idea-jotting :P
anyways all in all, really solid purchase, i give it a 7.8 over all with my build, knowingly it would be an easy 9 with the upgrades.

AMAZING LAPTOP!

Love it in so many ways. Get the internet capabilities. Get the 16GB RAM. Get the Higher Res Display. Makes a big difference! I also own the X1 Carbon 6th gen and the screen is only 1920x 1080. Major difference! But at the same time, the battery life was much longer. It's a touch call, but working is so much better on a super high res screen! This is my 3rd X1 product (2 X1 Yogas, 1 X1 Carbon) in the past few years. My staff all have MAC's. I call this the MAC Killer. They reply with "well why did you have to buy 3 while I only had 1.." I replied with...Lenovo has fixed the kinks since 2016 with battery, bios, etc. issues. I have a good feeling about this one!

I loved everything about it except the screen. I returned it because I thought I would seriously lose my eyesight trying to read it. Way too hard to see.

A couple quality issues, but battery life sub-par

Failed orientation sensor with first unit. RMA'd unit had memory errors. Stuff happens; however, battery life (on "reasonable" power plan) looks like it will be around 4 hours, much less than advertised or acceptable.
