First few weeks using the device and have found it a bit finicky and bug-ridden. From colour scheme (night mode) not adjusting automatically, occasional device locking up and the red Lenovo light blinking until I plug it into a power outlet before it allows me to restart the device (and lose all of my work!)...not a great first impression.

Also, please refer to these steps in regards to setting your display for night time in Windows 10:
1. Select Start > Settings > System > Display > Night light settings. If your night light toggle above the link is grayed out, you may need to update your display driver. See Update drivers in Windows 10. 2. Under Schedule, toggle Schedule night light to On. Then, either select Sunset to sunrise, or select Set hours and enter custom times for the night light to turn on and off.

I purchased a Thinkpad thinking it would be a reliable machine knowing the Thinkpads of old from IBM. I was highly surprised when straight out of the box I was having issues. I am currently on my second laptop from lenovo within the month and have had issues with both. My original came with a defective wifi card and the second has had a few bue screen errors in the week i have had it. It isn't the Thinkpad of yesteryear is what I am trying to say.

Hello, I have really been enjoying the most this computer has to offer! However, I am facing many issues with stop code errors/blue screen errors, as well as my pc sleeping and not being able to turn back when I move the mouse (I have to physically hold down the power button sometimes to manually shut off the pc and turn it back on). I'm not sure what is causing these errors, but it is a shame as I love this pc and spent a lot of money on it - I am scared that it will ware out quickly if I cannot find a solution to these problems. I have tried to factory reset this pc a few times but it wont work - I get another blue screen error. There are no Lenovo stores / specialists that I can go to. Are there any solutions for this?
I would love to make sure my pc is working optimally so that I can use it to its full potential without system crashes and errors.
Love this pc though

This is a wonderful computer. Very this and moderately light, as I understand slightly heftier to accommodate the full articulation of the Yoga. The HD screen is good and I don't notice the difference vs 4K once in use as a daily business system.
The only negative I can speak to after a week and a half is the sharp edge at the front and sides edges of the keyboard surface. My wife hasn't had any issues, so I will say this comes down to the user. It hits my hand/wrist/forearms in a way that it is uncomfortable depending how I am resting them or holding the computer. After a week and a half I am just starting to get used to this irritant and hope I can build-up a tolerance so that I don't notice it anymore. This is the one and only reason I did not rate the X1 Yoga Gen 4 ***** FIVE STARS.

I would give this laptop a full rating. However, the only criticism I have for it is the pen. I have been taking notes on my Ipad for a while (Notebook app) and using this laptop to write notes is not as smooth.
