I bought this almost a month ago and so far I am very happy with it. Before this vacuum, I had always used Dyson's, but I was looking for something a bit more affordable, and particularly something with the anti-hair wrap (which has yet to fail me). Works well on our LVP flooring and is easy to switch to a carpet mode. The attachments are easy and versatile!

Great for Residences with Multiple Pets

I use it on hard floors and area rugs. Pet hair does not wrap around the rollers. Cleans hard floors extremely well. Suction is very powerful.

I initially purchased the Vertex since it was advertised for pets and quickly found out the design didn’t allow for me to clear pet hair out of the heads. Apex had a roller garage door which allows for cleaning. When you have a lot of long hair dogs, no amount of double rollers will completely reduce fur/debris entering the vacuum head. Now I can routinely do maintenance- a big plus.
The suction on the Apex is great and I look forward to using it on both carpet and hard surfaces. I have a 3200 square foot home and nine dogs so a good, reliable vacuum is a must.

I have had the shark Apex for approximately a month and so far I love it. I had a shark rotator before this that I really liked, and this has all the features and more. It’s heavy duty quality, doesn’t feel cheap at all, great section, and for a home with three long-haired daughters a dog and two cats the Self cleaning brush alone makes it worth it. The light is very bright on the vacuum head and on the handle. The soft roller also makes it clean hard floors much better, picking up dust and dirt better than any vacuum I’ve had.

I bought my vacuum after looking for a long time. This vacuum has so many good features. Its not heavy and easy to maneuver. The lift off is the best part. I can reach under chairs easily. The 3 levels of floor choices are great. I like the soft roller for my hardwood floors. My old vacuum was heavy and did not pick up against the moulding. I love having a light to see where the dust is. I always had to use the stick and suck all around the room. The debris cup is smaller than my old vacuum but that has not been an issue for me. I Love my new vacuum!
