This appliance is amazing!. All the features. The heating is incredible. Before we bought this new one we had an old dryer that made a lot of noise. So this was a total upgrade for us...

Great so far, but

I've had my set for 2.5 weeks. So far this dryer is working great. The ONLY issue I have is with the door, and it might just be because it's different than what I'm used to. You have to slam the door shut for it to close all the way. If I try to push it closed gently like my old dryer, the whole dryer slides back a little. Not much of an issue, but something I'm having to get used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This dryer has better features than my last GE dryer. I'd like the digital timer and the light inside the dryer. My only concern is I can't hear the sound buzzer when it goes off.

Just bought a new house and wanted to upgrade to more modern appliances. We've been using old style dryers for the past 10 years. This GE dryer is super easy to use, uses much less energy and is fun to watch while it works. I still have my old dryer in the garage, just in case, but so far we're very happy with our purchase.

Sensor drying

Sensor drying doesn’t dry towels, casual & blankets. Have to run through 3 to 4 cycles to dry these items even a small load. One light blanket, 4 towels . Will not allow you to choose more dry with a comforter, cycle. Had a Kitchen Aid gas dryer for 33 years & never had this problem. Could choose my heat cycle. Will need to call repair to determine why its not drying properly. Only had it a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
