Needs a little tweaking

Dryer is very nice and quiet. I have noticed that the clothes/ towels come out a bit damp for their cycle. I used Towels for towels and Mixed Load for most other items, not including jeans. I have had to add extra drying time. Not really a big deal. Just have to learn how to set it properly. Even with extra drying time, it is still much quicker than my old dryer.

First time GE appliance buyer

So my 10 year old Maytag dryer finally died it's thousandth death. My son had recently bought a GE washer and dryer set and had good things to say about them. I couldn't just replace the dryer even though the washer still worked great. I bought the set and they sure are beautiful looking. The dryer works well and has many features. I read in the reviews that sometimes the clothes are damp at the end of the cycle. I had it happen once but I think with some practice, I'll get the correct cycle for the type of load. It happened with the Maytag too. No big deal because this one has extra dry button. So now I don't mind doing laundry as much.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like it. It works and my clothes are dry. Top lid isn't strong though. It already has a couple indents. We have no kids and my wife isn't hard on things. In fact, she takes very good care of them. Top lid shouldn't dent that easy. I would imagine a lot of people put laundry baskets on it. I wouldn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
