I replaced my old dryer of 18 years and was looking for an upgrade without having to take a course to learn how to run it. My new dryer has definitely satisfied those 2 conditions by offering the "bells & whistles" while still being Very User Friendly!

Tried another brand and sent it back. The GE is easy to operate and runs well. I didn't need steam dryer function and all the other features; this has plenty for me. Love the gray color.

We've been using this machine for about 3 weeks now. Had to replace a part that was contributing to a nusiance noise but that wasn't so big deal. Had to switch positions with the washer as the depth of the dryer was too deep, coupled with the house plumbing, to allow the laundry room door to close. As has been the case for many years, the dryer door is reversible which makes unloading the washer into the dryer less awkward.
