I purchased this model to match the GE washer I purchased a couple years ago, and to replace my 17 year old dryer. It drys clothes much faster. It is a little louder than i expected but I am used to it now (had it for a couple weeks now). The lent trap filter is a little small than I am used to, but I guess that will make you clean it after every use. Overall happy with this dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Less than 6 months old and simply will not turn on. No lights on panel. And unable to find any troubleshooting. It is not power source. So disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Even though you don't believe the issue is power related, please go ahead and flip the breaker and unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes. Then plug it back in and flip the breaker on and see if that reset helps. If you still have issues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. Good price for a good dryer

It's hard to find a good gas dryer these days. This one is very efficient and easy to use. I don't use many of the fancy features that it has but it has performed well for the first few weeks we have had it in use.
