Hello. We appreciate you letting us know of your experience. We truly hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the dryer automatically stopping because of a filter sensor issue. We know how much frustration that must have caused, especially when you’ve tried several cleaning steps and resetting the dryer to resolve it. We’d like to assist with a resolution.

If you are running a sensor cycle in the dryer, the unit will try to detect the presence of a clothes load. If a load isn’t present, it is possible that the dryer will turn itself off then display the Clean Lint Filter reminder. Running a cycle with clothes may help. Reviewing the dryer to make sure it’s level and not tilted to the rear (where the sensor rods may not be able to sense the clothes) can also help in some cases.
