So fare so good after three weeks of use (about five full loads); the clothes are completely dry when using the mix load, wrinkle care settings. There are a couple of improvements that could be made. Unlike the Whirlpool dry that I replaced with this GE; the wrinkle care cycle needs to be a separate timed cycle from the drying cycle. With this machine the clothes continue to tumble for an undetermined period of time, once drying is complete. The old Whirlpool would tumble the clothes for about a minuet in five minuet intervals for 30, 60, or 90 minuet settings. And the end of cycle alarm needs to be much loader!!! (a buzzer would be nice) If your not standing in the utility room, you will not hear the little chime alarm in another part of the house.

I've had this dryer for about a month now. Overall I am pleased with it but not overly impressed. There are several features that are nice to have like the light inside and the glass door. It does a pretty good job at drying the clothes in a short amount of time. However, the auto-dry setting often leaves things like towels and sheets a little bit damp and we have to put them back in for 20 minutes on timed dry. There are a multitude of different settings on the dial but they seem to be overkill. 95% of the time we only use one setting. The dryer was quite overpriced for what you got also. Next time I would spend less for the same functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy with my new dryer. It does need a little getting used to from my precious older one. This one senses the dryness, and sometimes not all the items are completely dry. Just pop them back on for a few minutes.
The door is a little hard for me to open and close, but not difficult.
I like the digital selection screen, and it lets you know what step it is in the drying process. You can see the items then the glass door. Really nice and quiet. Chimes when done. I would highly recommend this dryer.

Dryer needed repair within 3 months!

This dryer was purchased with a washer in a set and within 3 months of owning it I had to contact the Manufacturer to get it repaired under the warranty. The rear plate inside the dryer came un-dome and it caused damage to the entire drum of the dryer. I literally purchased it 3 months ago. They re fixing it, but what a hassle to have them come out and look at it then have to come back with the drum etc... not to mention I had to resort to a laundry mat in the interim.

The dryer plug in cord is too short.
I’ve had 2 prior dryer’s in the same spot and didn’t have a problem with the cord reaching outlet
