Loud noise even for a small size load

Worst washer ever, tried many different way like moving from one are to another to see if the floor is not even or maybe it just dont like being next to the dryer lol. i could hear the loud grinding noise from second floor!

Always Off Balance

This is the worst washing machine I have ever purchased. Even though we are meticulous in placing our items so their weight is evenly distributed, at least 50% of the time it gets itself off balance. The drum turns so aggressively when it agitates, all the clothes get shifted to one side. It doesn't matter what setting we use either. We have bought GE Appliances in the past and had no problems, what were you thinking with this one GE? If you do not want to have to babysit your washing machine, do NOT buy this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not too bad

Our GE dryer is great, dries fast, and it’s quiet. Our washer isn’t bad, the washer sometimes doesn’t finish a cycle, and doesn’t always drain the load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

amazing washing machine!!!

So far the family and I love our new washing machine. We are a family of 5 adults, one 2 and a half year old child and a white German Shephard and the washer has handled all we have thrown at it. The washer can handle huge loads of clothes, comforters, sheets, pillows, etc.... It is pretty amazing how all you have to do is load the washer, select what cycle and the washer does the rest. The washer automatically knows what size load is, dispenses the appropriate amount of detergent and water and does a great job getting the clothes clean. I would recommend this washer to anyone.

Second long term update

I'm now in my full year of using the machine. I was retired but have taken a full time grocery store job. It requires at least one daily small load of the uniform. I get clothes dirty and smelly from produce stocking, especially from when I have to cut onions and peppers for the display floor. I have made my peace with modern washers and now use the high efficiency cycles more than not. They work as long as you load the machine by carefully balancing bulk and weight by the placement against the walls of the tub as best as possible. Fold towels and jeans in half before putting them in. Do not wrap jeans around the agitator. After mastering this, the machine is as designed. It does a fine job washing . The high efficiency design works as long as you load it carefully and do not stuff the washer. Also, don't think that "Normal" means like you have loaded washers in the past by simply tossing mixed loads helter skelter inside the machince. It will not work as designed and it will waste your time in rebalancing the load or having to redo the load. I'm now content with the design and would buy it again. The auto detergent dispenser works great and does not allow over sudsing which defeats the modern machines so often. The power wash cycle and the soak cycles have yet to be defeated where I have to re wash heavily soiled items. A good friend has purchased the successor model "Profile". He has had fine results and did a much better job than I in simply loading the machine correctly and using the correct cycle too right off the bat. Also, I wash bedding too frequently as my cats have a bad habit of fouling the bedding with furballs. The big capacity works great on my queen sized comforter and sheet sets. All in all, this has been a fine purchased.

This is a great machine with large capacity

The washer has a large 5.0 cu ft. Capacity. It handles large and small loads well. The washer has an agitator, which was appealing to me, as I have dogs and am often washing dog towels and bedding.
