Not the best but does the job. The lid doesn’t have a soft close so you have to make sure it doesn’t slam shut.

I'm surprise at how noisy the machine is. Also, the auto fill detergent doesn't match the standard water levels. It took me a few cycles before I realized if I didn't select additional water the clothes came out with detergent residue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a worse washing machine I buy. After a year and half it was making a horrible noise and a lot of shaking.

Looks great but.

Machine looks great, but it’s just not working right. The cylinder inside that holds the close continuously slams into the sides of the machine, the machine vibrates like crazy, and is very noisy.

Hate to say it - GE nailed this one!

I really was reluctant to buy GE but I wanted a agitator in my new large capacity washer - we live on a farm/ranch and the clothes get sweaty, wet, oily, and greasy dirty with all sorts of animal discharge. This washer is WAY BETTER then my Maytag. I can ADD EXTRA WATER, I can INCREASE type of soiled wash load for more agitator time, I can PRE-SOAK - amazingly our work clothes are MUCH CLEANER. Your go GE!
