Very nice control system, love the 72oz detergent feature I use a lot less detergent than I did before. Now that being said I’m 5’ 5” and I can not reach the clothes in the bottom of the tub I have to get a stool. And the balancing is absolutely horrible almost every load that has towels, jeans, blankets I have to rearrange load several times to get washer to balance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why wont you drain?!

So I would like to start on how beautiful my set is. Although we have had some issues with this washer. We have had more than one occasion where the washer does not completely drain. It is so frustrating because we have to re-wash the clothes multiple times or pull out soaking wet clothes so it will drain. I even tried drain and spin, still no luck. I wish I knew how to fix this problem because it is wasteful and frustrating.

For the price, I would have thought it was quieter. Also it is so deep I have to use tongs to get items out of the bottom. I’m 5’7

LAUNDRY IS TOO WET

i HAVE BOUGHT MANY GE PRODUCTS IN THE PAST AND REALLY LIKED THEM SO I
PURCHASED THIS WASHING MACHINE THINKING THAT MAYBE PEOPLE WERE RIGHT AND TOP WASHERS INSTEAD OF FRONT DID WASH CLOTHES CLEANER.
HOWEVER, THIS MACHINE HAS TAXED MY SOUL! i WANTED A LARGER CAPACITY AND GOT IT ; HOWEVER, I AM 5'2" WHICH MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO GET CLOTHES OUT EVEN WITH A STEP STOOL. MY MAIN PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I WASH PILLOWS/COMFORTERS, THEY ARE SOAKING WET WHEN I GO TO GET THEM OUT OF THE MACHINE. I GO TO THE DRAIN SELECTION...IT FILLS THE MACHINE UP AGAIN!!!!

Good washer. Unbalanced spin makes me nervous.

Overall we've been happy with this washer. The capacity is gigantic compared to the old ~3 cubit foot washer we are coming from. It has done a good job cleaning clothes. We intentionally went with the agitator because we wanted a proven technology, and it hasn't disappointed. We do generally use the button to add a little extra water to the cycle. Not sure if that's necessary or not.
Our one concern is the spin cycle. It starts to spin and then detects if the load is unbalanced and will then slow down, fill with water, and attempt to rebalance it. A little time consuming, but fine. But during the first phase when it is detecting if the load is unbalanced it will slowly start to spin, and in the process will actually bang the tub against the side of the machine. My wife put a heavy rug in the washing machine and the sound of that heavy load slamming the tub against the side of the machine was more than a little disconcerting.
We've gotten better about figuring out how to load things so they balance, and the machine DOES detect that the load is unbalanced and stop spinning. But I wish it would figure it out without slamming the tub against the wall of the machine.
