Buyer beware

Lots of room and great features, had high hopes for this machine but constantly goes off balance you have to babysit the machine all it takes is an odd towel in the load to completely throw it off, but they do have good customer service I had the best repair man in PEI come out and clear some codes and tweak the machine until I figure out how these new machines work I’ll just keep an eye on it

Wouldn’t wash a single load

Wish I could say differently - but this washed was installed and didn’t complete a single load before it malfunctioned. What’s worse is that the part is on back order until mid-February. Hopefully they can get us a replacement out ASAP. I have a family of 5 and it’s totally unacceptable to not have a washer.

Balancing..... Balancing....

I bought this for the large capacity and made in USA. Small load or large load it is constantly out of balance. It then attempts to self balance the load extending the cycle by almost double. If the washer can’t complete the spin cycle your clothes are left soaked. When you transfer to the lid to the matching dryer it prematurely claims your soaking wet clothes are dry leaving them to get a mildew smell. PS the washer is sitting on a level concrete slab and leveled precisely with adjustable feet.

Hi We're so sorry for the difficulty you've had with your washer and can understand your frustration with the off balanced loads.If you're finding some of the clothes are wet, it's possible the incorrect cycle was selected. We suggest making sure the cycle selected matches the load you are washing. Some fabrics will feel wetter when rinsed with cold water. You can redistribute the load in your washer and then run through the Drain & Spin cycle.

Worst washing machine ever!!!!!

If your load is not just perfect in the drum when it goes to the spin cycle it starts slapping the sides of the machine and shuts off. When you readjust your clothes it then fills the tube again with water to only do it again. Only had this thing 7 months and completely frustrated!!!

Do not buy. Always out of balance

Always out of balance!! Takes me days to finish laundry. I have to pull sopping wet clothes out or readjust the clothes all the time just to get it to spin. We bought the extra capacity drum and you can’t fill it because it won’t spin.

We know any difficulty with the washer going out of balance would be concerning, and we want to assist. You may want to make sure the unit is level (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed), as an uneven washer may be more likely to go out of balance.

Vibrates and walks

Worst appliance purchase ever. GE out twice to look at it. First guy said use only HE detergent. I showed him the bottle that is HE. The vibration was so bad that detergent leaked out. It had caused minor wall damage. GE is of no support. Today the tech (as I'm resting I hear the machine banging....)

Disappointing

First of all, it says it’s quiet right on the washer. It wasn’t at all. Because the washer has an agitator I figured it would get things cleaner. Instead it took apart the stitching on my 3 favorite blankets. Also, bad design, the bleach dispenser is near the detergent opening. The softener drawer is loose and wanted to come out. The good features like the Wifi & wash station do not make up for the bad ones.

Spin is a Problem

You have to baby sit this washer because when it comes time to SPIN you never know whats going to happen. With my cheap Amana unit I never had to do this. The first big issue was washing 4 pairs and jeans and the washer ended up putting them in one big bundle and trying to spin it. Of course it sounded like the washer was destroying itself and I had to stop it and evenly space the wet jeans so it would spin smoothly. Then, every now and then the same thing happens, the washer cant seem to get the load right to spin without the basket banging against the machine freaking out. I do like the options, and the auto dispense of the soap. Another thing about this washer is it is very tall. Short people will need a step stool. I highly recommend going to the store and seeing it in person. Unless you get a great deal on this unit, I would not buy it again. PS the Wifi, I had to unplug and plug the unit back in to get it to connect after many failures setting up.
