Excellent washer but beware of the hoses....

Thought the washer was dead on arrival, as with every try, I kept getting the “H2O Supply” message. I decided, even though I had the machine for only a few hours, to give GE service a try. I had the machine installed by a professional plumber who had installed modern “anti flood” hoses. These hoses to my understanding, are hyper sensitive to water pressure changes, to which this particular washer is apparently not a fan. Our GE tech who has been to our home before, is great, and knew right away what the issue was. He changes out the hoses for standard steel braided ones, and all was resolved. Since then, the washer has performed well with different loads at different settings.

Our journey with our new washer began during the purchase. The salesman was personable, well spoken, quite knowledgeable about the machine. The machine works very well and is quiet!

love the smart despense and not having to decide what load size to pick does it automatically. did have a snafu when we plugged it in and didnt work when we installed but service man came and it was only a wire came undone when they sent it. works like a charm now.

This washer gets everything so clean, the self dispensing detergent is great, and I actually love the built in WiFi and reminders from the app letting me know my laundry is done. If you are shorter it may be hard for you to get the clothes out. I’m 5’8 and sometimes have to go on tip toe to reach the bottom.

This washer does a great job with all of the household laundry I've thrown at it over the past two months I've owned it, and it cleans the cloth baby diapers so much better than our previous machine. The controls are easy to understand and the settings saving option is terrific. I am in LOVE with the detergent autodispense. Amazing feature. The reason for four stars is that the smartphone capabilities are a little lack luster and clunky, but getting notifications on my phone when the wash has completed is very helpful.

I already reviewed the dryer, but I wanted to add my thoughts on the washer. This pair is great. The capacity is insane. This is my first time buying a w/d but I couldn't be happier. I haven't even started using all the features, but its quiet, fast, and so efficient.
