This washer is the worst ever. It constantly is out of balance from small loads to big. Highly do not recommend! Only rated at 1 because zero isn't an option

Disappointed in Purchase

We bought this washer when we built our new house 2020. Most expensive washer we have ever owned & turned out to be the worst! I agree with many others… doesn’t matter the size of the load. You never know if it will get unbalanced and not spin! It will keep trying for hours unless I finally go ahead & rearrange then use the and drain & spin cycle. Also, grease streaks on sheets and pillow cases happens alot! Plus sheets seem very dingy! Now to top off everything the auto detergent dispenser has low tank every time I wash. It’s only the two of us! Started refilling once a month, then every two weeks and now every time I get ready to wash! Is it just draining out? No problem solving listed for this! Very disappointed that I bought the top of the line! We feel this purchase was a waste of money! No wonder it’s 1/2 the price now! Too many issues!

Horrible reliability

I've only had this washer for two years and has stopped working. It won't spin or drain now. In addition, it stays out of balance and use to spin so aggressively that there is a hairline fracture in the lid. If this is how 'GE" branded appliances work, I won't be purchasing anymore GE products. I must now pay an expensive repair or replace it all together.

Off balance loads!

I have had this washer for eight months, and I absolutely hate it! It cleans well, but fully half of the time when spinning it quits and shows "off balance". It doesn't seem to matter if the washer is fully loaded, partially loaded or under loaded. It doesn't seem to matter how you try to rearrange sopping wet material to appease it. The washer simply keeps adding water to attempt to rebalance and makes matters worse. Sometimes I can appease the washer god and move something just right so it will drain and spin. Most of the time I end up wringing out dripping wet fabric by hand. If I wanted to do this by hand, I would have purchased a washboard instead! Do yourself a favor and skip this model--GE dropped the ball on this one.

Hello kbhmo - We're so sorry for your washer experience and understand how the unbalanced issue would be frustrating. If the machine is overloaded, the clothes may not be able to move freely and may be more likely to throw the basket off balance. Also, the more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Horrible Machine

I have always purchase GE Everything. But this Washer is the WORST, JUST HORRIBLE A NIGHTMARE!!
1. You have to be a speed reader to read the LCD Screen. Why isn't this a more readable screen?
2. The Agitator looks like it is ripping apart my cloths.
3 Every time I open/close the top lid I have to shut the LCD display screen OFF, So annoying. Sometimes I need the lid space to put things on for loading my other storage area. Well when I put the lid down the LCD displays. If I open it up after using it the LCD goes on. Then I have to reach behind the open lid to shut the LCD off. Crazy!!
4. It has Magnets in it to perform the agitation. We if you are listening to an AM station you will hear the agitation!! No mention of this when you purchase it.
5. Times for washer are insanely long. Like 1½ hrs for a deep clean. For Cold water you don't use the cold setting, but choose TAP. Hard to figure what setting to use to wash your cloths.
6. Prior to this we had a GE Wizard which lasted 17 year before it died.
7. My wife and I hate this machine and it we could return it we would, Worst GE Product I have ever owned.
8. In March we need a New Stove. After 41 years I had to replace it. Looked at GE but price point wasn't their. Ended up buying a Samsung. Very happy with it.
9. The pull out draw for your soap, Pods or Softener always has a residue of water, probably a table spoon full or more.
I wish we never purchased this washer!! I don't say this lightly, but this is one thing my wife and I agree on.

Love my new washer!

Really love everything about this washer. It is quiet, hold a lot of laundry and cleans really well. We went with the agitation and it really gets the clothes clean. Love the automatic detergent dispenser, never have to add detergent, it does it automatically. Really like how the door is clear so you can see the work in action. So glad we purchased this washer.

Awful product; unbalanced, poor spin; unclean clot

Got this product in October...should take it out back and destroy it. I needed to use the drain and spin function...won’t do it. It refills the whole thing and when it finally spins everything is still dripping wet. Don’t bother with this garbage. Just as bad as their low volume, quiet dishwashers that leaves nothing clean and everything wet

Too deep of basket!

The washer is too tall and basket is extremely deep. I can’t reach clothes!! I am so disappointed... I do not like washer at all. Theres no light in it like my other GE. For price I spent I expected better quality. I’m not short (5’7”) but can’t reach clothes without hurting myself. Even tried a stool! I wish I never got it. How can you make something so deep and hard to access? Will never buy a GE again.
