I was afraid I would have a balancing issue, but my first load with a few kitchen towels complete succesfully with no problems.

Til love my new washer. The only thing I have found so far is that if the washer is not level, it has trouble balancing.

Is always unbalanced
on March 13, 2023

This washer seems to always be unbalanced!! And if it’s unbalanced it will fill back up with water to try and balance. It will do it a couple of times if you don’t catch it. Wastes so much water and has been nothing but a pain since we bought it.

Hello- We are sorry to hear you're having this experience with your washer getting out of balance. We can understand how frustrating this would be for you and want to help! All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. Note: The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation.
We have some Anti-Vibration Pads that may help with this issue. Please take a look at the following link:

Oh no!
We're so sorry to hear that you are having a hard time with your washer. This can be such a hassle and we're more than happy to assist. When the washer is in 'balancing' mode, this means the washer cannot spin properly. After the wash cycle was complete, the items in the load were no longer evenly distributed enough in the tub to allow the spin out of the water. You would need to manually redistribute the items in the load more evenly in the tub, then resume your cycle by pressing Start or select Drain & Spin and press Start.
We hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Have a great day. - Tierra@GEA

Worst washer ever

This is literally the worst washer I've ever owned. Constantly off balance and I have to readjust heavy wet clothing. I've had for a little under 2 years and I am looking at another washer. The only thing I enjoy is the auto detergent dispenser...

Waste of money, ZERO stars

Could not be more disappointed with this washer. After many different detergents and cycles, dark clothes continue to come out with white streaks, clothes looking dingy NOT clean. White clothes come out with dirt stains that were not on the clothes prior to washing, requiring multiple hand washes to get clean. Additionally, the clothes are often dripping wet once the cycle ends, too wet to place into dryer. Attempt the “drain & spin” cycle and seem to be just as wet. GE you’ve really let me down.
