Disappointed

Terrible dryer. I have to dry my laundry 2 or 3 times in order to get it dry. No matter what setting I use it's terrible. I also had my dryer duct cleaned hoping that would help and it didn't. Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected from a brand new product

The drum light hasn't worked since I got the dryer. I've been using it for about a month now and two times my cloths weren't anywhere near dry and one of those loads was very small. I'm not very happy at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pleasantly surprised!

I have bee searching for 4 months to replace a washer and dryer that I have owned for more than 20 years. What I have found is that today’s washers and dryer‘s come with so many bells and whistle‘s that they forget the basics. During my search I had to return two sets of machines because of this problem. I was quite skeptical when I purchase these two GE appliances. Delivery what is the lead by two days because of work being done at my house. During delivery the installer noticed a problem with one of the valves and told me that GE would have to come and replace the valve. This problem did not affect the normal operation of the dryer. Once I contacted GE, they immediately sent someone out to repair the problem.
I have now had this machine for three months and I am pleasantly surprise by how much I like the machine. It runs as well as if not better than my previous machine with several other features that I did not have and have grown to love.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My dryer was installed yesterday. I've dried 13 loads of laundry in the last 24 hours. Works like a dream! I'm very excited about my new washer /dryer pair!
