Great capacity, however, it doesn’t dry!

Very disappointed in this dryer. 9 out of 10 loads don’t get dry and need more time added to get clothes completely dry. I believe it has to do with the smallest lint screen I have ever seen.

Not Heating and less than 2 yrs old

Dryer failed and heat no longer works. I am trying to find out if its repairable and contacted warranty department since this is the second failure I have had with this machine. Warranty department said they have no record of my machine even though I have the confirmation email from when I registered this machine as well as 5 other appliances I bought at the same time. GE doesn't have the same quality they used to.

Oh no!
This is certainly not the kind of thing we want to hear about from our dryers and would like to offer our apologies to you. We can definitely understand how frustrating this is. If your electric dryer runs but will not heat there are a few things you can check before scheduling service.
To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug this appliance from the power supply before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
If your electric dryer runs but does not heat, please check the following:
The dryer should be on a separate, dedicated 208V/240V electrical outlet.
An electric dryer may run with a partial voltage of 120 volts but it will not heat unless it has a 208V/240V power supply. The circuit breaker could be partially tripped even if it does not look as though it has tripped. Turn off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the dryer and turn it back on, then see if the dryer heats properly.
Make sure that you have the correct amperage for the circuit breaker or fuse that supplies power to the dryer. You can check the specific Installation Instructions for your dryer model for the required amperage.
Make sure you have the right cycle selection, fabric setting and temperature selection. The cycle should be set to a dry cycle and not fluff or cool down.
Make sure the front of the dryer is not blocked. Proper air flow is needed for the dryer to dry properly.
Check the power cord. The power cord may have a burned, broken or loose connection at the back of the dryer.
The power cord for the dryer connects to a terminal block on the rear of the dryer. A metal power cord cover covers this terminal block.
Remove the screws holding the power cord cover in place to access the terminal block connections.
Check the power cord. Look for burnt, broken, frayed or loose wire connections. If wires and/or the terminal connections are burned, broken or frayed, then replacement of both will be necessary.
If the suggestions above do not work, please schedule a service appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. All the best. Mike@GEA
