We purchased the GE smart washer last summer & I wanted the matching dryer. So far I am LOVING our new purchase. The first 2 things we dried in it were king size comforters & I literally only had to dry them both ONCE. it was great. A full sized load of clothes only took 30mins to dry I thought I was going to cry, i even thought it was faking me out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't dry well. Have to cut back on for at least 3 cycles to get clothes dry. That's on high and more dry. 3 pants and 3 shirt sleeve shirts. Doesn't get hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the dryer you are looking for

This dryer burnt 3 of my blankets that the washer tore apart. It also has the worst lint trap. It is small and filled up fast and then started to accumulate on top of the lint trap going back into the clothes. Yes, I have dog hair on a lot of my clothes but nothing our old Whirlpool couldn’t handle. The Wifi worked well & it was a large dryer, but the door seemed cheap and light. Returned promptly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dryer works well with one exception...

Love the dryer and all of its features. Settings are straightforward and easy to master quickly. My only issue is that the lint screen is woefully inadequate and fits poorly into the slot. Without fail, after every load, before I remove items, I have to wipe away lint and debris that has escaped the trappings of the lint screen and has come up through the top. I don’t typically wash and dry large loads so it is not a matter of volume. It’s an annoyance and unfortunate, considering that the dryer is outstanding in all other aspects.

I really like the light inside of the dryer. It holds a lot of clothes and traps lint well. No comment on the steam dry, I didn't hook that up. My only complaint so far is the default cycle uses an eco setting that doesn't get the clothes dry. They are pretty damp after running through the cycle.
