GE Dryer Not Heating

Bought this dryer October of 2020 and it has already stopped working. Dryer tumbles, but no heat. I expected better quality! I had a used Hotpoint dryer for 10 years that still worked when we invested in this new set. I should have kept the whole old one, IT WORKED!!!

Terrible Junk GE dryer!!! Dead at 2 years old

This dryer is a piece of junk. Only 2 years old and the control board has went out. Very costly part. Labor and parts is the price of the dryer. What a lemon. will never buy GE again!!! Cannot reach Consumer Realations. Will be calling Better Business Bureau!!

Multiple issues & now completely dead after 2 yrs

This is the most problematic set of a washer and dryer I’ve ever dealt with!!!! Only had them about 2 years and the dryer has been repaired several times and is now completely dead- receiving no power at all with the least amount of info possible on how to determine the cause and solution. Not to mention the matching washer has been draining bleach onto the floor when poured into the bleach spout so I haven’t been able to use that all year either. The stupid thing alwaysssss gets off balance no matter how you situate your laundry, therefor using its “fancy” drain and spin to attempt (and fail) to balance out the laundry, in which case it’s just wasting more and more of my water. The warranty on this set is absolute TRASH considering the amount of problems I’ve had in such a short amount of time. I will never purchase another GE appliance and regret ever spending my money on this cheaply made, disastrous, money-pit of a set.

Great Dryer Except for One Thing

We absolutely love this dryer except we can’t seem to get it connected to the App so I can control my laundry. I had no trouble at all connecting my washer, but don’t know what else to do to get the dryer connected/registered.

Mixed Feelings

This dryer was sent to us as a replacement for a GE dryer we had only had for 4 months. It was delivered last week. This dryer is so good at doing it's job. It drys clothes great. The sensor dry dries them perfectly. However, it has a loud knocking noice that is constant. The dryer can be heard in our downstairs living room from our upstairs laundry room. That is my only complaint. If this is normal for this dryer I could not recommend it as it sounds broken.

I'm a pretty old fashioned guy, but my wife is into the latest technology. Originally I was hesitant when she said that she wanted to get a new washer and dryer set. This set came with wifi connections and all kinds of bells and whistles. And I have to admit... This GE washer and dryer set is really fantastic. So far it's easy to use and beats all of my expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

works well, just not able to connect WiFi. keeps giving error message. Had no trouble setting up washer, just cant get dryer to connect
