Not heating

Had this dryer for about 3 years and it stopped heating, I have great ventilation amd clean the vent after every load. I do about three loads a week. Checked the circuit breakers and turned on and off but still no heat. Would not recommend this dryer nor the matching washing machine because of the balance issue. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Dryer

This is the first time using a gas dryer. It’s incredible how quickly the clothes dry. Way better than an electric dryer. Best dryer we have ever had.

This is the 2nd time that the dryer stopped getting hot. I have only had the dryer for 2 years and do not use it often being a one person house hold. Please let me know if this is a common problem. It is very frustrating.

pretty nice dryer ... still it went more up. I went to start a load, pressed the button, heard a little noise, and the thing went dead. The breaker was not tripped. I flipped it off to let the unit "cool down" for a few minutes. That made no difference. The owners manual doesn't give any clue. Makes no mention of any internal breakers/fuses. Useless. 🤷♂️

Biggest piece of junk dryer I've ever owned, so is the washer I bought at the same time. Never buying GE again. This dryer broke within the first year of owning it, luckily it was under warranty and replaced. Fast forward to 2 years of having the replacement and the replacement is making noises lile the drum is loose/slipping. For reference we only do 1-3 loads of laundry a week. What a joke.
