Overall good dry

The dryer works well and dries clothes quickly including large loads of towels and comforters. Only issue is a small one of lint gathering on top of the lint filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought july 2019, tonight the thing will not turn on, no power at all....I did the circuit breaker thing checked all plugs....nothing!!! im livid!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the little extras they did with this dryer like being able to have Alexa hooked up to it and how it alerts me on my phone. It also dries the clothes extremely fast even on low heat!

Feature rich at a reasonable cost. The notifications to my iPhone are quite nice and allows me to stay on top of laundry even when away from hearing the buzzer. I appreciate integration with IFTTT and am able to make my LIFX bulbs flash or even sound a alarm on my arlo system to increase range of the notifications or buzzer for that matter. The dryer drum is huge and handles large loads with ease. The door and vent is swappable to either side allowing for a range of setup options. The only real downsides I have found is the buzzer alone isn’t real loud which isn’t really an issue with all the other options on notifications and integration with IFTTT. Also the drum light isn’t clearly mark on the control panel. You have to hold the sound button for three seconds to turn on the light while it’s running. However, the light does come on automatically when open the door. Wifi setup was a little tricky and app functionality is a little lacking and convoluted but still enjoy the option. To start the dryer with your phone it does need to be put into dryer delay before leaving the house as you cannot restart the dryer with your phone until the dryer delay button has been depressed again. You are able to stop the dryer from your phone after it has started though. The dryer door is a little cheap feeling but overall doesn’t take away from the dryer, this goes for the lint trap as well. At least the trap is easy to clean and doesn’t need to be opened up once removed from the dryer, unlike my last one. I have no real qualms with my purchase and overall have been real pleased with the purchase. What can I say, it drys well, it’s quiet, has a ton of features, nice appearance, and was responsibly priced. Great job GE on a awesome dryer.
