I'd been dreading my taxes because I don't know much about it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be with turbotax. Not much different than personal taxes.

Easier than I thought it would be!

2018 tax return was the first corporate tax I have done. Turbotax did a lot of good leading and I loved that it imported data from QuickBooks. It also provided info on what an amount was comprised of--very, very helpful. All in all it took me a week to complete due to my inexperience at the outset, and we ended up with -0- due. Very pleased.
What's great about it: Ability to correct or change info
What's not so great: State tax return items not always explained in full.

SS Wage Limit error

According to the 2019 Circular E, SS Wage Limit is $132,900. The TurboTax W-2 prep uses $128,400 (2018's Limit). Also, the reconciliation used in the W-2 prep indicates an addition of lines 5c and 5d for Medicare Tax purposes, which creates an error in the amount of the Additional Medicare Tax on row 5d.

Poor copy from year to year

Desk top version can't sort 1099's alphabetically, very poor. Do not trust online version to keep tax records safe from hackers.

I got rid of my accountant 7 years ago. Since then I've been using Turbo Tax Business for my real estate business. I'm saving big by doing my business taxes myself.

I would be lost without Turbo-Tax!

I've been doing my taxes for over 25 years. I own 3 companies (Sole Proprietor, LLC and a Corporation) and I do all of my taxes myself, with the help of Turbo-Tax it makes my life much easier. Thanks Turbo-Tax!
