Incorrect about Connecticut efiling

I was disappointed that I paid for the Connecticut module and then was told that TurboTax couldn't efile a CT-1041. I had to go on the Connecticut tax site and efile it myself. They charged me and did not deliver all that they should have.
What's great about it: Easy to file an IRS 1041 which I had never done before.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax said Connecticut 1041s cannot be efiled. This is incorrect but I had already paid TurboTax.

Please add import function for accounting and Financial Institutions

I have used Turbotax for several years with good results. This year was terrible. Turbotax made so many errors autofilling forms that I had to go through every form and fix the errors. It would have been easier to just do it myself. Total waste of money!

I needed work arounds like a CPA would give you. I had trouble with my CA state corporate returns. Federal was smooth.

Simple but needs chat support

I like how simple and straight forward it is, but maybe if they added a steps column on the left side so navigation would be easier to return to a section. I would love chat support instead of wasting so much time reviewing things online. I would love if some things had even more explanations. Ex: what some forms were for. But would def. use again.
What's great about it: straight forward and simple.
What's not so great: no chat support
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Trust Filing straight forward

The software works well and is easy to follow. I use the personal version to prepare my personal income tax and business version to file for a trust.
The only area where the software is confusing is if a state return is included? I purchased a state return, where the trust is located, but noted that there seemed to be a default for the state of my residency. Did I pay to much ? Was there one state return included with the software? I am pleased with the product overall and gave it an excellent rating

what a waste of money

We will not be using Turbo tax business next year for our simple partnership. Too expensive and very complex. Again, we willnot be buying this too expensive tax return next year.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: very difficult for a simple partnership
