Business for trust not as good as personal online
on April 12, 2019
Posted by: JohnCHJohn
The questions were not as clear as the online version I did for my individual taxes. Not as much help. This version is $170 and felt like it was lacking in comparison to the online version. And it seemed a little high priced for just one 1099-DIV
What's great about it: like do takes and answering questions
What's not so great: felt more clunky compared to online taxes I did with you for individual taxes

hard to get it to clear the final review. End up just checking boxes with unknown consequences trying to make it finish.
What's great about it: few....
What's not so great: unclear where it hangs, the help prompts don't really say what is hanging it up

On form 4562 (Depreciation), line 22 should include line 12 which is the Section 179 total and it doesn't.

Could not erase/delete info/items that were relevant in 2017 and had no applicability in 2018.

199-A Lacking
on April 13, 2019
Posted by: CrossRd
TurboTax continues to be solid, but I found two things lacking. 1. No detailed steps to complete the 199-A. Instead, it referred to looking at the IRS site. 2. At the review stage, it showed state tax return had errors, but did not show where the errors were or how to correct. It took a tedious, manual line by line, review to correct.
What's great about it: Step by Step
What's not so great: Missing Steps
