Just Filed my Federal And NY State Tax return of 2018.
Its Exhausting work. not easy at all.
But I had my previous years returns done by a cpa so I could go over before I file to see if I did it correct or the scenario changed ETC
Would highly recommend everyone using this software to first do your business returns by a pro than try doing it yourself..
Overall this software is getting better and better..( 2'nd Year using Turbo tax)

Turboed my taxes

I have used Taxact and I love Turbo Tax. It's extremely user friendly and I had zero problems doing multiple returns
What's great about it: Easy to follow, quick, idiot proof
What's not so great: None that I can think of

Works great but expensive

I don't need the full Turbotax for business so would like a less expensive way to file a 1041. I wasn't sure that TurboTax Premium would allow me to create the 1041, Schedule D, 8949 and K-1 plus State of Calif. equivalents. Disappointed that TurboTax won't e-file the Calif. forms.
Will use TurboTax Premium if I can be sure it will work for my simple trust situation

What's great about it: Easy to use. Easy to enter numbers from 1099's
What's not so great: Quite expensive for my simple trust.

Okay, wish is was web-based

In helping my father-in-law with his taxes, a web-based version would be very helpful. From working on his taxes from his place and mine, it adds to the inconvenience.
What's great about it: Accurate, helpful

With the first year of the QBI deduction small businesses need to fill out form 199a and there was no help at all to determine if I needed to make any adjustments.
What's not so great: no assistance with form 199a
