Small bugs at beginning

On March 15, I tried to make E-file, but it kept saying I need update software, even though I updated it by following its instructions.
Today, the problem is gone and I submitted successfully.
But it is scary, what if it happen on the last day?

Software process to complete Form 1041 for a Trust should be include in Home and Business version of TurboTax. Forced to buy full blown Business Edition to do my Trust return and also buy Premium edition to do my personal return.
What's great about it: step-by-step easy to use
What's not so great: too complex for a simple 1041

Some of the questions about other tax forms and elections required considerable research to answer. Could have been dumbed down a little more. Also, why do I have to change my nickname every year?

Problems with forms

When I imported my investment 1099 forms the long complicated bank password could not be pasted in. Also typing without errors is hard when the letters typed do not display.
When i saved the CA state return, TT still named it 1041 instead of the CA state 541.
What's great about it: Allows me to do my own taxes
What's not so great: some forms/questions are hard to deal with.

One line asks for additional income. I put in my total farm income. then I found a farm income form and filled it out. that automatically doubled my income so I had to go back and delete the "other" income line. TT should ask if you have farm income, especially since it knew there was farm income last year.

What's not so great: Does not ask enough income questions
