Turbotax business was very simple. This was my first time self-preparing my taxes. I was a little nervous, but the ease of the software made it very simple.

Been enjoyed using TurboTax at the exclusion of other tax prep software. The overall experience has been great and saved me time and money to have to see an accountant or preparer.
What's great about it: Went through all steps and covered all expenses
What's not so great: Still had to manually added a few figures that didn't get input after the interview process

Turbo tax is the way to go! The program keeps you from having to go through a lot of forms that you don't always need. I've never done my business taxes before and you made me not hate the process ( too much).
What's great about it: Was easy to use and I really liked the help windows
What's not so great: Could not figure out how to delete a form once I started it and trying to do an extension made no sense to me.

Poor support for Idaho

I love TuboTax and have used it for years, but became VERY disappointed in them after moving from California to Idaho. They ignore Idaho and about 5 other low population states. They simply don't provide business tax software support. We are limited to only the federal portion of their software.
They say it because of low demand. Apparently they have never heard that if you build it they will come.
Turbotax should support every state business filing and stop being selective!
What's great about it: Very easy Federal
What's not so great: Ignores ID and other low population states

1120 CORRECTION ISSUES

Unable to easily reconcile Income, Retained Earnings and Balance Sheet. Sometimes just rounding difference.
What's not so great: Difficult to find how to correct issues found in review (and I am a retired CPA!).

Where's TurboTax Biz?

As an accountant, I recommend this product (and Intuit QB). Its ease of use allows me to conveniently make changes and expeditiously file returns.
My only suggestion to TT is to add TT Biz account to TT Personal so as to select either one from the same account, and make access to download more accessible.

What's not so great: challenging to find site for download
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

we do multiple state and foreign work and sometimes the transition between the business and personal taxes are not clear and smooth
What's great about it: easy to go through, help online available
What's not so great: foreign tax area is not very clear and help is not available to understand the steps
