I am impressed

My tax professional of 15 years retired last year. I was dreading finding a new person. I decided to give TurboTax a try and I am amazed - it was easy. When I had a question during the process, there were pop up boxes with details. I am also pleased with the cost (which is less than what I paid last year).
What's great about it: The system walked me through what I needed to do.
What's not so great: I do not have any cons!

Good Product

This product is really good for personal, but the business product- basic financial business lingo is most definitely required. I still had to access IRS.gov to read about certain lines and how to fill it out correctly. Overall, the process was fairly simple.
What's great about it: Convenient and simple
What's not so great: Some items still need a tax professional

I HAVE USED TURBOTAX BUSINESS FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND I AM AMAZED AT HOW EASY IT IS TO USE. ALSO THE HELP TIPS HAVE PROVED INVALUABLE.

Love your products. I do my family taxes with them and wish there was a way to becomes more of a professional using turbo tax software

Business Tax-LLC

Generally a good product.
The help screens maybe need to be segregated by entity type - partnerships for example.
Hard to figure out how to handle nondeductible club dues.
Such stuff should be in the travel & entertainment section.
If I did not figure out how to do it using the forms, it would be a problem.
What's great about it: Handled complex issues
What's not so great: No place in step by step for nondeductible club dues.

Business Tax software 2018 -a great help

This is a time saver. I wish I could take advantage of this software if I had more time but I still accomplished my return in time. Thanks.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: more yes/no options desired; like having no tax withholding account number
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Business balance sheet

For a non accountant or accounting person, the software could ask the question about accounting and then if non-accounting person, walk through the steps of entering info from quickbooks or giving guidelines on difference between quickbook data and tax data.
What's great about it: Balance sheet is complicated but allowing the edit helps
What's not so great: Editing makes it difficult to reconcile
