What's not so great: Very expensive for a small company, Late programs

It would have been nice to have access to a live CPA such as the personal tax programs have. There were a couple of times that I had simple questions about the meaning of some terms that I had to spend a lot of time Googling that I'm sure would have been easily answered by a CPA.

In Quickbooks, retained earnings is calculated/displayed differently than in TurboTax (balance sheet section). You essentially get to the same bottom line, but in order to complete the TurboTax worksheets you have to have a firm grasp of how to calculate retained earnings. It would be a huge time saver if this was more transparent between the two applications.

Wish they would include Federal and one state package together.

Corporate Return

We are trying to close a corporation. We needed to file Form 1099-Bs and Form 960. These did not come with TurboTax. Instead we had to find them, read about them, download or order them, fill them out separately, and submit them to the IRS. I am still not sure if we have filled out all the forms we need to do in order to close it. We did contact the State of VA and have supplied all of the information that they requested.
What's great about it: Generally useful
What's not so great: TurboTax did not help us close the corporation completely

Great for my SB

While this works for my SB, I can't help but wonder if, and/or when some of the more complicated elections would need to be chosen, and for what purposes.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, fill in the questions
What's not so great: Very little explanation of more complicated elections
