Need More Information on Bus. Forms

The business software really needs more information. It is very complex for Trusts and there isn't any guidance to make decisions. I spent hours online trying to find information that would help me know how to fill in the forms. I had to keep going to forms and then back to the interview to figure out where to put my tax info. It was very frustrating and confusing!

Great step by step way to do taxes. A little hard to figure out how to make attachments to return and not real clear about that the state return must be mailed and guided to do so.
What's great about it: I like how it transfers info from year to year
What's not so great: a little hard to follow instructions but gets easier each year

CA State Taxes are Very Confusing

The CA State portion is very confusing. There are parts of various forms that pop up with no explanations at all. There doesn't seem to be any contextual help. Sometimes there are blue boxes, sometimes yellow and sometimes pink. Without a decent explanation it is pretty worthless.

Poor experience with state forms

I was very unhappy with turbotax this year. After purchasing the New York State S-Corp form, I was charged but forms were not loaded. I did not get a notice of any kind that the forms were not yet available. I needed to send a lot of time searching to find out that the forms would not be available until days before taxed were due. I do not have confidence that my state tax return is correct this year. I may look at other products next year.
What's great about it: Much data from previous year is used.
What's not so great: State form issues were frustrating

The only Confusing Part was the 199A as the questions in the walk-thru provided some guidance but was clearly not ready for prime time. Great Product and I'm all in with how the program is built. Can't fault them much on new regulations and the great unknown.

1120S Made Easy

Makes it very easy and quick to complete the Federal 1120-S return, including electronic filing. Imports all relevant info from the prior year, then guides you step-by-step thru the return preparation. I like having the ability to switch to "Forms view" as desired to view the actual tax forms as filled. The electronic filing is easy and convenient. Awesome!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, very intuitive, comprehensive
