I was hesitant to prepare the taxes of my new LLC

First time I filed a return for my newly opened LLC. I do not have deep knowledge of accounting, but basically, at opening you do not have income or many expenses. Decided to give a try and prepare the return by myself. A little intimidating, but in the end TurboTax guided me in the process and was able to file the federal and state returns. Took some hours to do it.
What's great about it: Very intuitive. Help sections are really helpful.
What's not so great: If there is necessity of override information, the guidance is not clear. It is not explained, why override is needed.

Smoothest year yet

This year's version seemed to go more smoothly, and I recommend the added features that explain what I need to know to ensure that I am entering the appropriate info.
What's great about it: Same checklists to follow with the added features to verify entries or find info. on past returns; directions simplified
What's not so great: No Mac versions for Business and no combo. multi-business + personal filing

Trust product is adequate

there continue to be many errors in the turbotax business product, especially the estates and trusts product. more so than the personal product, it really just transcribes info to fill in a form. there is minimal advice offered. I wish they would put more effort into the trust product to bring it up to the level of the regular income tax products.
What's great about it: compatible with personal tax product
What's not so great: not as good as personal tax product

Importability from QuickBooks

Unbelievable that Intuit cannot engineer the software for their own two products to be compatible for import. It's the 21st Century folks. Make it happen. There are too many other products on the market and you're behind the times. It's probably time for us to move on as well.

Business Corporations Return: I have been using Turbo Tax for many years, by far this year was the worst year of turbo Tax usage. Turbo Tax would not correct errors on returns even when I followed the instruction and I did what was being asked. Resulted on having to file paper. When asked to print paper return to mail, it did not print as requested. Too many issues. Next year I will file with accountant.

Way Overdue for Mac Business Product!

Windows is the only way to use this product! Not acceptable for Mac users and there are enough of us to justify a Mac business product, just as there is a Mac personal turbotax product. C'mon, Intuit!
What's great about it: OK, but Windows only
What's not so great: C'mon Intuit! No Mac OS version!

Yet another year without tax generated ulcers !

Have been in business (S Corp) for many years and Turbo Tax has yearly held my hand and guided me through the apprehension of doing taxes and successfully helped my yearly filing. Would have lost a lot of sleep without Turbo Tax. Recommend keeping copies of all business activity receipts and etc. with those next to you during tax time Turbo Tax will take it from there and instruct you on what and how anything should be applied. They offer numerous venues of help and let you relax during and after the process. Would never have a year of tax filing without Turbo Tax by my side and on my computer!!!
What's great about it: easy since I transfered last years info and Turbo Tax walked me through it all!
What's not so great: Nothing that educating myself wouldn't have helped but Turbo Tax was there for me!
