Great value

I've used TurboTax a number of years now, and it keeps getting better and more comprehensive. There are still a few things it could do better (like help with loss carrybacks), but it's a great product.

Great experience for first time user

Choosing TurboTax for my first time doing taxes on my own was a good decision. Easy, intuitive designed software walks you through the process step by step. Any doubts along the way are clearly answered with the question "?" tab. Highly recommend paying for Expert Review and Audit Protection since you can have an experienced CPA look over the return before filing, just to be sure.
Will use TurboTax again in the future.

TurboTax Tech Support Person Justin saved the Day

I was stumped on a $35 discrepancy for 5 days which made me late in filing. So far no problems associated with being late, but I'll have to wait and see if anything arises. I would have given only 3 stars if not for Justin's support.

Still glitches, had to override some values

This program still had some problems to make it work for a complex trust, but overall was better than my other options (my HR software crashed and wouldnt reload). I couldn't efile on time as had to switch to this software, then when I went to file (knowing the states were still incorrect, it didn't allow state efile so ran out of time to federal file so messed things up so it ended up costing us over $500! (timely file to use the 663d election was lost!) It was nice that efile federal was included in price like others add on. I was refunded for the states, which weren't correct or able to efile, with no problem. If they had efiled, I was informed it would have been an additional amount on top of the state $54.99 price each!!!! So for federal trust ok, but not states. And no AR available! So lots of paper returns still left to do.

I have loved using turbotax for many years. It is a great product, except for the Business version. It does not have a way to easily include capital investments. That is annoying and the reason for only giving it 3 stars. It should be easier to report on capital investments by owners or business partners.

I love turbo tax

It was easy to use and helpful. The only think I would change is have more of the questions presented for estate closing. Also when purchasing the business software I would ask for the state needed at that time.
