TurboTax Made 2020 Less Taxing!

In this challenging year, Intuit has once again deducted one more challenge -- filing returns. TurboTax has been instrumental in continuing to support my small business and I'm very pleased that my CPA continues to approve (and use the industrial-strength version for his practice!) of my submissions via Intuit's easy online e-filing service.

Great except for the block on imports

For the most part very happy with the functionality especially for my first time filing. The one complaint I have is the stranglehold Intuit has on Turbotax only allowing Quickbooks to upload accounting directly. Manually inputting fixed assets, etc. was painful.

Turbo tax has been very helpful throughout the years to transmit electronically and love the error check that confirms info so you are sure all entries are correct.

Balance sheet is a pain in the a......

same issue every year. enter all the numbers as asked but at the end it tells me balance sheet isn't correct. how is that possible if i ever everything as asked . then no help with figuring out why

Federal pruduct is great, state is less robust

The federal product is pretty good at explaining things and prompted us to explore something we didn't know about, which ended up being very helpful for our situation. The auto populating of data and generating K-1s is a huge plus, much like what we got with a paid tax preparer. The state and local products were not nearly as robust and we felt like we were basically populating forms we could have pulled off line, the interface was entirely different and it was not as user friendly.
