Good but confusing

Need a simpler way to get to the source entry point for connected forms etc.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax in the past to complete my business return. It was ok This year but things that other years were so simple, I had to go find this year.

I had never used the corporate version of Turbotax and was very impressed with the diagnostics that I got and the relative ease of using it. I am a CPA with 30 years of tax preparation experience and now working as a corporate controller. Ours is a new business and we couldn't get a CPA firm to prepare our returns and Turbotax was a good solution this year.

couldn't file - software claims forms need update

couldn't file - Software says it's up to date, but waiting for "government to update forms" but it's 09/14/20 and trying to file 2019 1120s which is as updated as it's gonna get.

Some Adjustment Form Error Check Are Too Cryptic

While TurboTax for business is relatively easy to use, there are some areas where TurboTax needs to be improved. One example is when error check requests that certain errors be corrected. Errors should not happen at all if TurboTax software was properly implemented. When error check asks the user to correct certain worksheets, it never explains why the error exists or exactly what is expected to be put in the field in error. A good example is the depreciation worksheets. I was asked to fix about 13 field where
"prior state depreciation" was missing. TurboTax should know what to place in those fields. I use the software every year to file. That kind of thing, I see, as one of the biggest problems with this software. Not everything is easy to use.
